Brad Radtke was raised on the Radtke ranch and currently he and his brother, Rex, operate the ranch together. He has ridden horses his entire life and has trained under Curt Pate, Jeanne Gaudreau, Dave Veitor and Buck Branaman. Brad combines his ranch work with his horse training. The ranch operates as a custom grazing operation where we bring in thousands of cattle each Spring and move them from one pasture to the next throughout the Summer and Fall. The horses get a lot of miles put on them and are exposed to crossing creeks, ditches, logs, rocks, and encountering wild game, and motorized vehicles. The Winter months he uses the indoor arena to start the young horses under saddle, halter the weanlings, and work with driving, dressage and jumping prospects. Brad Uses resistance free training, and his patient work is evident in the young horses which show willingness and confidence to excell in their individual areas of talent. |
